Vada, verb: to look, to see, to be seen.

'Vada' comes from Polari, the secret language of gay men and women used mainly through the early and mid 20th century. Best known through Kenneth Williams and Hugh Paddick as Sandy and Julian in BBC Radio's 'Round The Horne' in the 1950s and 60s, Polari is a slang language, derived from a mix of cockney, Italian, French, Yiddish, gypsy and street slang.
